The comedian disguised his black eye with an eye patch while attending the Comedy for Koby event in Beverly Hills on Monday.
“I was staying in a hotel on a hill,” Leno told TMZ. I did not have a car, but the restaurant was [near the bottom]. You had to walk more than a mile and a half to get there.
The star of “Jay Leno’s Garage” chose to take a shortcut. Leno “rolled down the hill” and smacked his head on a rock rather than falling. The comic’s black eye was evident under his eye patch.
A few hours before Leno was scheduled to take the stage, the fall occurred.
“Well, I did the show and then when I came back to L.A. I went to the hospital.”
He stated, “It’s not that big a deal,” in reference to not interfering with his concert schedule. “It’s all right.”

Leno slumped in a hotel after a sequence of horrible incidents that left the comedian injured.
In January 2023, Leno was “knocked off” his motorcycle. The “Cars” star sustained two broken kneecaps, two broken ribs, and a shattered collarbone.
“Unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it,” Leno told the Las Vegas Review Journal after driving through a parking lot after taking a side street.
