Laken Riley’s Trial dying moments were filmed on jogging trail cameras. A video of murdered college student Laken Riley’s dying moments has been released.

The nursing student from Augusta University was last seen alive jogging on the University of Georgia campus at 9 a.m. on February 22nd.

She went missing shortly after, and was eventually discovered dead with “visible injuries.” Authorities suspected foul play. She was 22 years old.

On Tuesday, November 19, the third day of murder defendant Jose Ibarra’s trial, prosecutors presented video footage showing Riley jogging on campus before she vanished, which you can view above via CourtTV.

The footage was captured by a police mobile trailer camera stationed nearby.

Riley’s final text message was also made public by prosecutors at Tuesday’s sessions.
A UGA investigator who heard the message in court stated that Riley wrote, “Good morning,” in the fatal message to her mother at approximately 8:55 a.m. on February 22, as reported by 11 Alive and WSB TV.

Riley told me that she was “…about to go for a run if you’re free to talk,”

Eight minutes later, she called her mother, but no one picked up, according to a timetable provided by 11 Alive.

At 9:11 a.m., Riley dialed 911, prosecutors said. But the call was cut off right away. Riley was contacted once more by 911 dispatchers, but they received no response. At 9:24 a.m., her mother also took her call, but she didn’t hear back.

Riley’s mother became anxious when multiple family members unsuccessfully attempted to contact her, according to phone records. Her body was discovered later in the day in a forested location near a lake.

According to court documents previously quoted by PEOPLE, Ibarra was detained on Friday, February 23, and accused with murder, assault, and kidnapping.

He has pled not guilty, according to ABC News, WSB-TV, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Laken Riley’s Trial dying moments were filmed on jogging trail cameras
